yeah I dont think im going to fuck with this album at all

 

Yeah sadly I can’t say I’m too excited for this one based on these singles. Everything just seems a bit generic and repetitive. It’s catchy and fun, but it’s missing something for me that I can’t quite put into words.

 

I like this Bloc Party meets Angel Du$t vibe about these tunes.

 

I like all the new songs to an extent, but I definitely feel like this is going to be my least favorite release by them. Definitely did not expect that after Mat’s most recent solo album being arguably his best

 

Thought this song was pretty irritating tbh

 

All of these new songs sound like a poppier version of Turnstile. I'm fine with it, though.

 

Outgrown isn't the word, but I feel like Citizen just isn't for me anymore. It's been a decade of keeping up with their music and going to shows but I feel like they just don't do it for me anymore.

Citizen has always been a band that I'd like a Greatest Hits from, but I've never been all the way into a single album. But I'm really into all 3 singles so far.

 

I dig the album. Only listened to it once today, but I'm enjoying it as a whole.

Yeah, a lot of gear we build was used on it, so I got an advance.

 

all three songs are different and more conventional than their last few LPs, but i dig them for what they are. definitely won't be my favorite Ciz album, but there's still some good stuff to enjoy in these singles.

 

Weakest of the 3 imo. Feels like filler. Other 2 songs are great though.

 

Band rules. These songs rule. I’ve always felt they get too much hate whenever they drop new music. And yet they keep doing whatever they want. Mad respect

 

I feel the same. Hyper Trophy has been stuck in my head a ton.

 

I hadn't listened to any singles leading up to the release but jumped on to Twitch to hear the album listening party and I'm really enjoying it so far.

 

I know the album is out this Friday, but they just put out another single and this is by far my favorite of them all

 

100% agree. This is the best single of the bunch (with Hyper Trophy being the second IMO) and Friday can’t come soon enough!

Not as good as hyper trophy for me but really close. Great song. 3/4 on singles, shaping up to be great.
