I've always thought their lead singles have been only ok but the second single has been great. And this might be my favourite lead single sin EIGTH

I haven’t listened to the last few releases so I decided to check this new joint out and holy shit I’m hooked. I can’t stop listening especially to that chorus.

 

Yeah this song grew on me quite a bit. I don't want a full album of it. But it's nice and light. Excited for this.

Weird but cool song, like it more than the first single

 

Almost doesn’t even sound like Mat in a lot of parts there. The song, like the first one, is fine. Feels like it just kinda rides at one level the whole time and never really takes off

 

Big fan of that. First track grew on me much more than I thought it would too. Really looking forward to this.

 

If You’re Lonely is a weird one, half of me really digs it and the other thinks it goes no where and is a bit of a snooze-fest.

 

2/2 so far. Love the new vibes. Definitely my cup of tea. I don’t really listen to these guys much, but the new songs are awesome!

 

Like this one more than If Youre Lonely and I liked that one quite a bit. Both songs are a bit one note but they are two very different notes so I dont mind at all.

Not really a criticism but sometimes Mat sounds like he's doing a Steve Brule impression here.

 

I like both new songs. It sounds like what they were trying to do on their last album, but better.

 

New track is cool but the chorus feels a little lackluster to me just like Lonely

 

Love both singles honestly, the vibes of this record feel right in line with how I feel musically right now.

New song didn't really grab me either, it just feels lacking in something but I can't say what. Officially concerned about this release.

 

Sounds so fun to me, I think I already like it more than the first one, vocal choices here are just pretty bold at times, and it pays off when the more melodic parts hit

 

Hyper Trophy has grown on me a lot. The chorus has been stuck in my head all morning

 

These guys kind of have a unique ability of challenging your ears a bit before things really click. I really like that about them.

 

Pretty easily the best single on first listen, not sure if this one is gonna be for me but that's okay
