I really enjoy this record. All the songs are very good and I'm excited for this to grow on me more and more over time. I think my only issue with it though might be the sequencing and the order with which they released songs. I feel like the flow always gets thrown off when the first song released is the first song on the record along with the second song released being the second on the album in this case. Doesn't affect the quality of the songs at all though.
Definitely love this more with every listen Really excited to see the songs translate live on Tuesday
The band Secret Space has always reminded me of Citizen to an extent, but it's even more apt with this release from Citizen.
I don't know if you saw their post yesterday but they're taking a break for awhile, which is a bummer but hopefully everything is cool and they return some point next year
I did see that, stinks for them, bu health is number one. I hope they come back stronger than ever. Never listened to Window Room 2 so I think I'm going to give that a whirl after my listen of the original.
This is growing on me. I think it took a minute since 3 of the first 4 songs are so immediate (Jet, ITMOIA, Medicine) it was making me think the middle was kind of bland, but I'm starting to hear the nuances that differentiate the songs.
In the Middle of It All is such a jam! having trouble finding something else to hold on to, but will persist
Mat sounds really good on here, but this album blends together a lot. It's still probably better than I expected
Ugly Luck and World throw me out of the album every time. I love everything before and after, but the middle two songs just snap me out of my groove. Here's to growing on me tho.
I think World is in my top 3 for the album. I love that weird guitar line throughout the bridge and chorus.
Jet In the Middle of it All Sleep Cement Control The Night I Drove Alone Roam the Room Sick and Impatient Fever Days Forgive No One Yellow Love How Does it Feel The Summer — Flower Child Definitely would change a lot about the setlist but they sounded great
