Ive told myself Im not listening to anymore songs until the release and Im going to try to stick to that.

I still have only heard the title track, and even that was just once. Thankfully I have four records releasing between now and this one that I am super excited about, two of which have leaked. At this rate, Ciz will be here in no time!

Title track leaked a few weeks ago

 

Just heard the new song, really like it, but what's up with this band throwing some weird sounding melodies that are so out of place on this album? "In the Middle of it All" and this both have them, really strange and doesn't go with the song at all, unless I'm crazy and imagined that weird wailing sound.

Havent heard the new one yet, but what part of In the Middle are you talking about?

 

The whole part where the words in the middle of it all are sung, sounds so weird and doesn't jive with the song. I don't mind that one as much as this songs though. Don't get me wrong I like both songs and it looks like it's shaping up to be their best, but those parts add nothing to the songs instead they detract.

 

I felt that lead guitar ramping me up a bit.

The screaming wah part in the middle fucked me up real good late, and alone in my apartment.

Oh yeah definitely, the song's they've put out so far are their best I think just some weird choices here and there.

 

Are we getting an actual song released tomorrow? Or did I make that up? I know there's a new song out there, but I won't be home all weekend and am generally too lazy to hunt down leaks.

EIGTH has aged really well for me. I really think this album was over looked a few years ago and I'm not really sure why... the production is a bit muddy but I think the song writing is their best work to date, assuming this new lp doesn't blow it away ha.

 

Really interested to read this. Has it been put up already?
