Such a good point about Anthony’s vocals. His voice has aged much better than I thought it would. His vocals on The Amulet were some of his best ever imo. I’m not an expert but he seems like he has improved from a technical stand point
This is less Circa Survive, and more Anthony Green Pixie Queen, but I loved it and wouldn't mind them to keep moving in this direction.
Only heard it once, but that's the vibe I got. It leans more towards his solo stuff than Circa Survive in my opinion.
I guess that it sounds more poppy than Circa Survive usually does, like slower paced, more methodical. I think songs like You'll be Fine and Pixie Queen wouldn't be out of context if they were put on this album. I haven't heard Pixie Queen in a long while, but those are the two that popped up in my mind. I guess to be fair, I could also see some of Circa's slower songs in here, like Suitcase.
yeah off the bat this all sounds like stuff that could fit right onto Violent Waves. not super super into it.
The End of Last Shot is so perfect. Sleep Well is such a great closer too. Truly blessed to have gotten this and the new ETID on the same day.
