Love the song, I didn't know what to expect but they're using the more electronic elements very well

 

2nd listen and this kicks ass. Also Esao's art is incredibly cool, he gets better and better.

The lyrics feel somewhat more direct than we usually get from Anthony. I dig them a lot.

 

I wasn’t sure how I felt about the song at the end of the BSN stream but it’s growing on me a lot. So glad they’re back

 

This first song is absolutely incredible. I cannot wait for the entire thing.

 

The electronic elements make sense. I went to one of the VIP shows a few years back and Nick said his main influence for drums is Bonobo.

 

Song is absolutely great. Bought the bundle 2 on the site.

This is instantly one of my favorite things they've done. The electronic/ambient-ish half is something I've been craving to hear more from them since they first started playing Sleep Underground back in the day.

 

wonder if we're still close(r) to a new album or if this is meant to hold us for a while, while they tour and recoup shit.

not that im complaining, i cant wait to hear this thing.

 

listened to juturna and on letting go on my drive. just perfect albums. my slight complaint is the guitars are mixed pretty low and a remix/remaster would be cool but they’re still a+

 

How did i completely miss this yesterday

 

Yeah it wasn’t until late last night before I saw anything about it. I was actually surprised there was still vinyl available.

 

They did remaster Juturna for the 10 year. You can hear the guitars are flipped from the original (So Colin and Brendan were either left or right side, whichever was original became opposite for the 10 year) And it DOES sound better, imo. OLG didnt get the same treatment, and just got the OG album released for 10 years with a ton of demos from the album recordings.

 

I used to not be a big fan of a lot of McTernan's work but so much of it has grown on me immensely over the years, especially on letting go. Juturna is still a little imperfect to me but OLG sounds pristine

jeez imagine signing to a new label and days later they leak your EP

 

the EP is really good, they take a lot of new risks and they all pan out really well. Very impressed with this release
