Yep! I used to watch that vid over and over lol. I thought they were going to take over the world when Get Out came out. BSN got them a lot of exposure if I remember correctly. I know they played Imaginary Enemy on a late night show
Scratched out a note I wrote for you To wake and read And know that I was there once I knew that there was nothing that I could write to assure you Of my return But all the paper said when I was done is ‘do you still want me?’ Because I’d be terrified if I had to leave this place today We haven’t saved the baby i mean cmon thats just devastating
Through The Desert Alone, Frozen Creek, Fever Dreams & Spirit Of The Stairwell is such a great four-song stretch.
I like Longest Mile, but in my recent listens of the record it hasn't held up as well for me. It's a good song, but it just doesn't match the same level of the previous four tracks to me.
and then how you gonna leave off compendium and dyed in the wool face it the back stretch of the album is a career highlight
That was the first Circa song that really clicked with me, and the only one I loved for a while. Possibly still my favorite on that record too but there are a few Juturna/OLG cuts I’d place above it.
Happened to listen to that song yesterday for the first time in a while. Shit gets me so jazzed. WE'RE OFFERING NOTHING BUT THE BEST ACCOMODATION
might be the best first-song-on-first-album by a band the only contender I can think of top of my head is Alkaline Trio's "Cringe"
oh, I meant specifically the opener of a band's first album, not just openers in general. I do think Holding Someone's Hair Back and Economic Hit Man are the best Circa openers, fwiw
Fuck lol, I knew I was missing something, this is my favourite circa song without question. I will always be gutted I didn't get to see the OLG tour, watching videos of them opening with it kicks my ass.
