I watched Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind for the first time last night and holy shit I didn’t realize juturna was so heavily influenced by it. Makes so much more sense now.

Reading through the liners for Descensus today and saw that Steve Choi from Rx Bandits played guitar on Child of the Desert, which is cool.

 

Its still so extremely weird to me that theyre touring with Hail the Sun. Their singer sounds 86% exactly like Anthony.

Yep. Described Hail the Sun to my brother-in-law as a heavy Circa/DGD combo.

Been working on an instrumental cover of Get Out whenever I have free time/am motivated to work on stuff. Programming drums at the moment, and just listening and trying to replicate all of Steve's nuances has been pretty fun.

 

I've been trying to get this band to click with me for a while, one of my best friends is a huge fan and is always playing random songs. I've always enjoyed them but I never really cared

Listening to Blue Sky Noise for the first time through and uhhh, I think it might be happening?? The surge of energy I feel listening to Get Out is awesome

I know fans like to complain about the mix/master of BSN but I think it's fine. I am very curious how the remasters sound though.

 

Though I have the deluxe, I’m gonna order this one too. That variant looks sweet.

 

now if only they'd repress VW I'll have their full discog of LPs at least

At the rock n roll hall of fame with my family and saw this went up, thought I could wait until after we were done, saw blue was gone, nooooooope. Ducked into the bathroom before the clear met the same fate

 

nice, I got mine. just sold my OG blue copy because I could smell this repress coming, this happened sooner than I thought it would though.

 

Oh wow sold out already. I'm glad I didn't hesitate!

So fucking happy I managed to pre-order a copy while at work. Now I'll have all six albums on vinyl, along with various other releases. Now all I need is Appendage!
