I like them both but this misconception that Phantasmagoria is bad is simply false. It bangs tbh

 

Both are about on par musically, maybe a slight edge to Fever. But I understand why some are put off lyrically by Phantasmagoria. I still enjoy it myself.

 

The production on Violent Waves being perfect for that sound sets Phantasmagoria over the top imo

 

Phantasmagoria is pretty good, but Fever Dreams is one of my favorites on BSN.

Just been noodling with an acoustic cover of Living Together. Has there ever been a chorus members Circa Survive tribute?

One of my favorites from Descensus. That chorus is nuts

 

I'll be honest it's growing on me. Overshadowed by the other amazing songs on that record

 

Saw them last night and they were really good as usual. Was lucky enough to get VIP access, thanks to the kindest man I know @Benjamin Lee. Highlight of the entire night for me was def the VIP set, that take on Lustration was wonderful and they did House of Leaves and I couldn’t contain my excitement. I was way too awkward when meeting them tho, haha, I would like a do-over.

I will say though, the setlist definitely wasn’t my favorite, mostly just due to it being so short. I also just still don’t get Thrice, seeing them live didn’t change that whatsoever lol.

The really busy guitar part in Greatest Lie first verse is the goat

I have the deluxe 2xLP 180g but I've always wanted another copy. Really don't want to have to deal with RSD just to get a copy of this though.

 

I had that one that i bought discounted from Hot Topics site. sold it and got the blue one instead, but i wish i still had the deluxe.
