It's high up there for me too. It probably is my most-anticipated and has been since it was first confirmed to be releasing this year. Very, very excited for it.
can one of these bands just give us a taste already? I want to hear Citizen and Circa so god damn bad
so uh i think circa is on hopeless records i found this page and blue sky noise/appendage EP on apple music are marked owned by hopeless at the very least there may be a reissue of those on hopeless
i mean label shouldn't really matter, the band should hopefully be doing what they want to, really only matters from a promotion standpoint hopeless kind of sucks to support in the year 2017 though
I really thought this would be on black cement and would be one that would get the most support out of the ones Yip listed. Maybe they still have a sour relationship with Atlantic from the BSN days. In better news. I finally tracked down a BSN deluxe vinyl variant with the awesome horse Esao art. Hope that comes in the mail today.
it could still be on black cement, hopeless might just be doing a repress of those records so people don't have to spend 100+ anymore
Excited for a BSN/Appendage repress if that happens. Those are the only two In missing, besides the RSD splits.
From a roster/discography standpoint, it doesn't get much worse than Hopeless Notice I said "much" because Fearless exists
hopeless's lack of diversity and disgusting response to the neck deep and moose blood situations makes them maybe worse than pure noise right now
I'm pretty sure Hopeless just bought the rights to the album from Atlantic. So, hopefully a repress is coming. Blue Sky Noise is my favorite Circa Survive album, and also the only one I don't have on vinyl.
not really, they fit right with bands like taking back sunday and silverstein. the crowdbases aren't that far off even if the sonic differences are huge
Very douche but I hope they don't repress the deluxe limited on. Atleast with the art. I just paid 150 for it and don't want to feel like an absolute ass hat in 6 months.
I stumbled upon a live acoustic recording of "Imaginary Enemy" that was recorded for Radio 104.5 Studio Sessions. Sounds great. Some other quality tracks on that compilation also; including Jimmy Eat World, Manchester Orchestra, and Metric. Ready for new music, though.
Frozen Creek is lovely. Imaginary Enemy is the creative equivalent of this sentence. I Felt Free is also a pile of shit.
I'll die on the frozen creek hill. Fucking adore that song. I felt free and phantasmagoria are the only two songs I don't listen to from this band
Frozen Creek is a fantastic song. I Felt Free and Imaginary Enemy are really good too. That whole album is fantastic. I've been really into The Longest Mile lately, which has always been my least favorite on the album (although I always thought it was at least good).
