@Deathco_019 report back when you get a chance after the show! I'm excited for you, and a little jealous that I have to wait a month to see the show, haha.
Will do! I'll spoiler tag anything I post for those that want to keep the suspense. Won't be until when I get home or tomorrow morning because I lost my phone last night haha
Yeah I remember watching the sequence videos a couple years ago which were pretty cool. There's the demos the gave out to the creature club too. I fucking love Resentment. I've always wished it would make an album or EP or something
Yeah I like the way he performed it on that sequence vid where he's on the rooftop a wholeee lot. Wasn't extremely crazy about their full band demo of it.
I was at the Boston show last night and they did things a little strange in my opinion: Played the full album but within the main set they threw in 1,000 Witnesses and Most Dangerous Commercials. I forget exactly where they put them in though. Encore was just Your Friends Are Gone. I was hoping they would have done the album and then maybe a short set after with some stuff off the rest of their discog. Most of the crowd stood around after the encore expecting/wanting that but it never happened. I think the set went for maybe 1.25 hours including the encore. At the end of the day though it was a fantastic show for them to start this tour
They were recorded during the BSN sessions, but some of them were written during the OLG era. Sleep Underground was played on one of their tours during the OLG cycle
Yeah, they did! It was wicked cool actually: They had two huge white blow up ball things shaped like the ballon from the album cover which were both being projected on throughout the whole set. Also confetti cannons
The show is absolutely worth the $75. Circa and mwY are both two of the best live bands I've ever seen
Personally I wouldn't normally pay $75 for a show of this caliber but being a 10 year anniversary show with them playing songs you wouldnt normally get on their setlist, being a fantastic live band and having really good opening acts I'd say its worth it. Also I'm not into much of anything by mwY, I've just never really taken the time to delve into their music, however seeming them live made my want to change that. They had tons of energy and sounded really great even if I don't know any of their music.
Will be seeing them one week from today. This will be like my sixth or seventh time seeing them. Dang.
