https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/circa-survive/2016/the-observatory-grounds-santa-ana-ca-33fd9c31.html I saw them only one time a whole decade ago and they only played 12 songs so I definitely need to see them again. Anthony did double duty and played a solo set at this fest too
Saw them front row on the Amulet tour. Anthony stomped on my hand and used my head for support for a few songs.
I think I've seen them probably 20 times between 2005 and 2021. Probably more. My favorite was watching the on stage in like 2015 because the guy who did my OLG tattoo knew Brendan and talked to them and got me backstage VIP tickets. That was a pretty unreal experience hanging out backstage with them before the show.
Oh man, I have definitely lost count, but I know I have the Anthony infinity gauntlet and multiples of each: Circa Survive Solo Saosin The Sound of Animals Fighting LS Dunes Next show is March 20 opening for Microwave
I saw Circa in a tiny pirate themed bar outside of Cleveland when one of their stops was cancelled. Hottest show I’ve ever been to but it was amazing
Was also at this show, I remember it was hot to the point of things on stage malfunctioning. Incredible time
Yup. All of these. I actually just found out via a recent interview, probably Hardlore, that the time I saw them at Showcase in Riverside was Saosin's first show.
LOL, can relate. Reminded me of the first time I saw them in 2005. I'm up front in the green shirt and he is using all of us to support himself...
I'd only gotten into them when Descensus came out so I really only had 6 years to see them before the break up. I swear I saw them like 4-5 times in that period since they were touring so consistently. Most memorable was Toad's Place in 2015 w/ B&C and Chon.
very proud and blessed with my attendance record: -Circa: 14 (3 VIPs with the mini chill set beforehand) -Anthony: 7 -TSOAF: 2 -Saosin: 1 (but missed most of the set) only bands that come close to this for me are Motion City Soundtrack (7), Glocca Morra (5), Katie Crutchfiled in some capacity (5) good luck (5), idk probably forgetting a bunch of bands' warped tour sets that barely count
I assumed maybe a tour around the festival but seems a bit early to be announcing September shows no? Interestinggg
Saw them at the 2010 Coheed tour with Torche or Trivium. They opened for Deftones on a two band bill same year. Was sick. Then with Balance and O’Brother. Then the final time I’ve brought up before, was my favorite. They toured with Hail the Sun and Foxing. Legendary show. Only ever time I saw Foxing live and they were amazing .
i think i saw circa around 8 times. i’ve seen anthony solo once. i also saw anthony come out for touché amores encore covering act appalled at union transfer in 2022
How do you all keep track of which shows you've been to over the years? I've used concertarchives.org for awhile and really find it useful.
A big spreadsheet. Saw a very memorable Circa show in 2013 with Minus the Bear and Now Now. Anthony stuck his fingers in the mouths of everyone in the front row. It was so gross but my friend loved it.

Anthony green once held my shirtless, extremely hairy and sweaty friend and sang into the mic with him before calling him a glazed donut. Was one of the funnier things I’ve seen
