Honestly at this point the only band in the scene I think will most likely never reunite is Every Time I Die. Plenty of other bands I thought were gone forever ended up coming back. We’ll see.
I would be somewhat surprised as well, but I did see them play Riot Fest several years ago without Steve.
I see a lot of people with this takeaway from the pod. Maybe I have rose colored glasses, but Anthony clearly loves this band and that interview gave me more hope than anything since the hiatus (until now).
Apparently everyone but Steve was at the Hyperviolets' (Colin's new band) show the other night per Reddit.
How come that ad teaser is only on some random girls page? Where did it come from? Don’t give me hope with a fake teaser ad ;_;
Cautiously optimistic about this, but since the hardlore interview, I came away from that thinking a reunion is a lot more possible.
I mean, that is definitely the OLG artwork. That combined with the IG wipe seems to confirm it, or just a really, really strange coincidence.
*Brendan's Coincidently, my Hyperviolets vinyl is scheduled for delivery today. Could turn out to be a pretty amazing day.
Yeah, I assumed a drum tech or someone. I don't recall any details on if they mentioned why Steve was not there. I assumed he was sick. Here's a video with the fill in drummer.
Definitely Anthony Green's profile. I recognize that head shake for sure. Definitely OLG artwork. Meet me in Louisville almost certainly a reference to Meet me in Montauk.
I wonder if the news about Brendan's relative death and then AG doing a benefit art print didn't help open up some things for them? (all speculation)
Yeah, I did not want to say anything at the risk of sounding parasocial (still hesitant) but I was thinking that events like that generally have a way of opening things up for people. Horrible circumstances but at least good to know that he had support during that time.
My Chem is playing Louder Than Life. Maybe Dunes will play too if Frank and Anthony are already there.
Anthony being in multiple active bands has never stopped him before. Coheed has been full speed as long as Dunes has been a thing.
