Another year, another attempt at getting into all of the other Circa Survive albums (outside of BSN). I listened to Descensus incessantly when it released and I barely remember anything from it
No idiot, its a group of episodes from a television series that are broadcast within a specific period of time, usually considered a single year, marking a distinct segment of the show's overall storyline
Oh good, thanks! Oddly, before I posted, I searched for a Circa thread and the search results only brought up ones for the individual albums and I was like hmm okay I guess there isn't a Circa thread. Thanks for the tip!
"Suitcase" is the current frontrunner for ethereal, wintery vibe king of the Circa Survive recommendations I've gone through so far ("Frozen Creek" and the Appendage EP, and I am now making my way through Violent Waves). This record is great, and "Suitcase" nails everything I like about this band. Editor's note: "Think Of Me When They Sound" is also great
In Fear and Faith should be winter as well: Can we last through the winter? The water's starting to freeze This heart is already frozen I can't remember the fall And if I last through the winter I swear to you now, I won't call
Yeah fuck off with that comment. Obviously want Circa to come back if they want to do it, but let’s not be a douche about it.
I couldn't say it's my favorite Circa album, but - it's definitely the one I've been going back for the most (I mean lately at least). And yeah, what kind of a shitty message was that... very "too forward" and entitled (and also just bad/wrong)
Weird timing as I was listening to circa survive I get a notification of this thread lol, I hope at least they tour someday
i hope that because of that dumbass “fan” they decide never to tour again or repress any of their work.
Two Dreams is great. It’s not my favorite, but it does have some all time Circa tracks on it. If that’s the last album, I’m glad they went out swinging.
