Fwiw afi put out decemberunderground in June so we can no longer use release dates as measures of when to listen to an album.

 

I’ll do whatever I want with release dates as it pertains to the weather tyvm

 

I mean if an album comes out in a certain month and I listen to it when it comes out a lot I’m going to associate it with that month. That’s kind of how memories work

 

I feel bad for all the members of this band. It seems Anthony just wants to off and do his own thing,
do these other musicians have anything else to fall back on ?

Been binging their discography for the last month or so now and have been finding a lot of comfort in their music lately. It’s been wonderful

Came across this sad post from Shane Burcaw, and noticed a familiar face in the comments:



Nice to see the love and support from Anthony. I know Shane is a huge Circa fan too and has a tattoo of their symbol on his neck I believe.

Anyone who picks on a disabled person is just fucking stupid. That dude took his life and decided he's gonna make the best of it and humor helps? Fuck anyone who shits on that.

 

Bunch of losers also just jealous that they can't score a beautiful and caring woman like Shane did haha

 

Every day my faith in humanity dims just a bit more. Cannot believe how fucking cruel people can be.

 

ehh yeah, exactly, 100k likes on a shitty comment like that, that's insane and cruel, on one hand I hope those are mostly kids or something that will still find a bit more wisdom with age, but it's still bad

 

Without the "like" system there wouldn't be this "game" of trying to get attention for stupid/hurtful jokes.

 

It’s cool that I’m guessing a bunch of us here know of Shane through Circa, from when Anthony spread the word way back.

It’s so shitty to see he has to go through that, and the more visibility he gets, the worse it gets. People suck. He’s such a genuinely nice and interesting guy too. It just sucks.

 

I honestly didn't even know Anthony knew him so I thought that was super cool. I knew he was a fan, but my fiance is actually the one who introduced me to Shane.

Yeah, not to mention that Shane is also just fucking hilarious. Definitely a cool dude, such a bummer to see

 

Just listened through The Amulet front to back for the first time in a couple years. I think it’s my favorite. Consistent front to back, them and Yip finally synced up perfectly on production, and some incredibly varied and career highlight moments.

 

With all the TGA get hurt discourse. I’m excited for the invetiable 2 dreams being better than remembered discourse in 5 years when they come back with a vengeance.
