The Amulet has always felt closer to the first two albums than the ones that came between. I rarely listen to the EPs one their own at the point, always as one album. I think it’s a cohesive sound through out. It’s probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite release from them now.
To the people who don’t have Juturna as their #1. What is your favorite album? Mine is On Letting Go.
On Letting Go came out the summer I got my license and was one of my first “drive around the backroads with the windows down” albums ever. I don’t think I can ever separate it from those memories, and that factors in big when talking about my favorite.
Juturna is my favorite album in terms of consistency from front to back Descensus and The Amulet have killer songs that I might like better than songs on Juturna though
On Letting Go is their best. Juturna has massive highs but is not as consistent as On Letting Go. It’s Circa fully realized
Juturna is 4 for me. I agree it has some amazing stuff on there but it's never fully connected with me the way it does with a lot of people.
The Amulet is my favorite. Blue Sky Noise is the one that really got me into them, so I don’t have the same nostalgia for the first two that most have.

I just remember hearing the Handshakes at Sunrise demo on PureVolume then Juturna dropped and was kind of a transcendent moment for me as a teenager. Definitely heavy nostalgia but is my favorite
OLG is probably my favorite album of all time and has been my phone background for close to a decade now so probably that one
Juturna is The One I remember my brother putting Juturna, On Letting Go, and Avalon on my iPod and hearing Anthony Green for the first time and staying up all night listening to it. Then skating the next day.
