I just really connected with that song while my grandmother was receiving hospice care in my parents’ house when I was still living with them and I connected with it even more so when she passed.

She lived with bone cancer for like 3 or 4 years when we thought she would only make it the first year.. She would put on the best face, joke about her newest wig (cause of the chemo) and just let nothing stop her.

Which ones are you looking for? Equal Vision had represses of OLG and Juturna in the fall of last year. Maybe they'll have more soon.

 

They seemingly repress Juturna/OLG often. I'm pretty sure BSN just go repressed recently too

Looks like Newbury Comics is selling the most recent pressing of BSN, but it's for $50

 

Basically looking for the first four. Saw the Newbury comics repress, but it's a little rich for my blood currently - maybe I'll be able to grab it before they sell out.

I'm a little surprised Violent Waves is going for as much as it is. Never thought of that as a particularly beloved album!

 

From my understanding, it's not beloved, but the pressing from last year was the first pressing of it since the album's release in 2012 so it's been pretty rare

Unfortunately, my copy of the original pressing is god awful on side D, which apparently was a consistent theme for some, so I'm glad I was able to get the repress

my copy of juturna came unbelievably warped and they refunded me but let me keep the vinyl, but, its not playable lol

I saw someone on the r/VinylCollectors subreddit list BSN, Violent Waves, Descensus, and Two Dreams earlier today. Doesn't look cheap, but might knock off some money if you want the bundle.

I once got a completely warped vinyl from rise records and they still made me send it back to them lol it was sold out so I couldn’t even get another one. Hate that.

 

I won’t even look but I have all my vinyl in a big plastic container and some could be warped because I got really busy during that time and then was afraid to look. I’d be devastated if my original circa vinyl was warped.
