Well I do love this painting, absolutely, just feel like it fits into the back sleeve more or a part of the booklet.
The more distance I get from their release dates, the more I'm inclined to rate VW and Descensus above my initial impressions and Amulet a bit lower Feel v confident I'll enjoy Two Dreams as much or more than any of those long term, tho.
It feels wrong to see on letting go so low but my rating is basically the same if you switch it and two dreams
Kenny Vasoli is credited with additional guitar on that one, always been under the assumption that little lick at the end was him! So bouncy, that entire outro could be twice as long and I wouldn’t mind at all
I believe this is correct. There’s a short video available on their patreon of them recording guitar on that song and there was a clip of Kenny in the studio playing that part, if I remember correctly
Wish he sang something too, would probably fit somehow - always love when they have some guest vocals too.
sorry to quote my own dumb ranking but i just think it says so much about the quality of this band's music across the whole discog that juturna, an album where, whenever i look at the tracklist, i think, "wow, this is front-to-back classics," is second-to-last for me
Well, I initially just though that the ranking says you're crazy hahah ;D (jk) but well, I just can't put most of their albums in a certain order. It's true.
Not just any guest vocalist either, Rachel Minton of the criminally underrated (and Anthony's former band) Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer.
I legit couldn't remember her name off the top of my head and I'm in class at the moment, so thank you for adding additional details haha
Exactly, like others said, Zolof's Rachel on "Suitcase". Though live they've had people on stage too, like Jeremy Bolm of Touche Amore.
Oh that's pretty cool! Gotta read a little bit more about the concept, but Circa with Touche already makes me exicted ;d
