I have one of the original OLG pressings with the balloon on both sides. Sounds awful, looks gorgeous. Deluxe purchased. ha
Really hoping the two B-sides are released in full quality as bonus tracks for the digital part. Been waiting a long time for that. In any case, vinyl pre-ordered, even though I buy vinyl very sparingly. This is one of the top records of the 2000s, and has among the best album art to boot.
all demos and b sides for Juturna anniversary were digital also. so I imagine this will be the same. stoked af. I've wanted all of this stuff for those 2 albums since like 2008
OLG is still probably my favorite Circa record but I flip flop between the first 3. There's such an aggression and immediacy to OLG that I love. All Circa records have a dark vibe around them, but OLG is the most aggressive and "post hardcore" of them all I think. I like that, it's a good fit. Those demos are cool, especially some of the newer ones
I don't know if I'd like this band if I jumped from juturna to BSN. Listen today. It is actually amazing.
On Letting Go is definitely the Circa Survive album I listen to the least, but I'm gonna try and listen to a lot more leading up to the show.
Circa's acoustic cover of "Wish You Were Here" back in 2007, is so great. Anthony Green/Circa Survive always choose the best tracks to cover. I listen to their AOL Undercover Sessions quite a bit, actually. Acoustic "Kicking Your Crosses Your Down" is a favorite.
I'm so excited for this tour!!! I just bought VIP for the LA date. I got into the band right before Blue Sky Noise was released so On Letting Go was my very first introduction to the band. Love these guys, I'm going to spin them all day in celebration.
