feels different than most ranking threads, there isn't any animosity when someone puts a certain album above another haha.

 

Violent Waves is really the only record i don't love, and it's only due to 3-4 songs that I'm not a huge fan of. I'm honestly excited to listen to it again today and see if anything new sticks out to me.

 

There are things I adore about them all.
They are my favorite band by a large margin and am just stoked to have this large of a
Consistent Discog.

If hope they keep going until Anthony can’t scream anymore. Ha

 

Fever Dreams is dope.

 

Yeah I don't believe they played a whole lot of shows before Juturna released. Maybe a smaller little tour. That is probably a really interesting point to note regarding how that could affect the creative process.

 

I downloaded the stems to both records and have just been nerding out listening to them lol. The way they constructed the guitars on Juturna is so unique, there are times (like on the verses of Act Appalled, for example) they’ll start playing almost the same part but one player will veer off from the other and then transition into something entirely different. I love it so much. Easily one of my favorite albums instrumentally speaking.

Compendium is an awesome instrumental interlude, I wish Circa did more little jams like that.

I feel like the BSN production works better on Dyed in the Wool than any other song.

After I few listens I can safely say this is the most gorgeous Circa Survive record

 

I could listen to Flesh and Bone on repeat all day. It's so intoxicating.

 

People have always griped about Circa's production one way or the other, and i think this one really balances everything perfectly. Yip keeps getting better and better.
