Fucking OLG is just perfect man.. Whenever I get in to telling people my favorite records of all time I always leave it out but it's definitely near the top

 

This is probably the catchiest a Circa album has been for me. I constantly have parts stuck in my head even on days when I don't listen to it.

 

Also I love "I Felt Free" mostly because I think the chorus is fantastic, haha.

 

How long is the whole discography? I should try to binge it at some point soon so I can talk more shit about these bad opinions y'all have

 

a little over 5 hours if you include the two OLG b sides and the Appendage EP. Im currently doing this at work.

We're All Thieves is a super underrated track.

 

My iTunes has 6 albums at about 5 hours.

 

How did I forget about this song?

 

On descensus now, child of the desert is such a cool song

 

It's crazy how that should have been on juturna you can even hear the feedback go into it

 

I'd do it Tomorrow if not for Doughboys, maybe Friday or next week

 

I wonder why it wasn't included. There's another incredible Anthony Green song that was criminally left off an album

Yeah.. Doesn't compare in my opinion but the 16 year old in me is still bitter hahaha

 

Do the first several notes of the guitars at the beginning of the chorus of that track sound out of key to you? There's something odd about it.

 

I think this is easily their catchiest album since BSN. The hooks aren't necessarily massive, but they are still pretty undeniable imo.

 

Maybe a sharp tone bc of how hard they are strummed to get the delay effect but they sound good to me.

Can anyone blend it in with Oh Hello to make it actually flow? It was so disappointing that they didn't fix this for the 10 year anniversary.

 

And pressed it that way on vinyl.... I was definitely not happy with that decision.

 

This is an unpopular opinion, but man, I really like OLG better in almost every way compared to Juturna. Juturna just lacks structure too much at times, and just kind of meanders on, and OLG fixes that perfectly.

I don't think that's unpopular at all. I love Juturna to death, but I prefer OLG overall. I remember back in 2009/2010 I saw a group of people, either on AP or the Circaboards or both, saying they thought OLG was just am inferior version of Juturna. I haven't seen that opinion nearly as much, if at all, over time. Seems like it finally grew on people. It actually used to be my least favorite for a while, but it's been my favorite for about three or four years now

 

On the amulet. This album really feels like it has its own identity in the discography
