I'll clarify: To voice instantly regrettable opinions within the context of subjective rankings and fights.
I've definitely said a lot of dumb shit. I delete posts all the time out of nervousness too. I wrote a huge post on why I didn't care for Deja much anymore in (I think) the unpopular opinion thread and deleted it bc it didn't get any likes and the thread died for a couple hours afterwards lol. I'm glad AP no longer exists bc I would hate to read some of my old posts there. that said, I don't really think teebs pointing out that he finds enjoyment in odd time signatures, and appreciates how the band utilizes them, qualifies as "dumb shit." And I found it bothersome that he was kinda mocked for it, but I'm glad he has a good sense of humor and could shrug it off.
Well, I'm sorry. Didn't read that way to me, especially after SpyKi's quoting you on it, but whatever. It genuinely rubbed me the wrong way and I felt like I should be honest and open about it instead of biting my tongue bc I like you. Guess I was wrong to think that, and the passive aggression sucks bc I was being sincere and it could have been returned with sincerity, but oh well.
Didn't mean for it to come across passive aggressive I'm at work right now I'm very sorry just typing quickly it's ok
I'm getting pizza and chinese and watching football with my extended family, getting REALLY AMPED for these new jams. I hope the amazon pre-order comes on Friday
I have managed to avoid the leak so far (which is amazing considered how weak my self control with this type of thing is. Haha). But, now instead of listening to music at times I normally would, I've been listening to the Harmontown podcast.
I've had Premonition Of The Hex stuck in my head and I've been playing the drums to it on my leags for the past few days. That one's been the biggest grower for me so far.
I showed the album to my girlfriend yesterday. She really enjoyed it. It's cool that she is also a big Circa fan.
Avalon is such a good album, which Anthony solo records hold up against circas work? Pixie queen and Avalon for me.
Beautiful Things is the only album of his I've thoroughly enjoyed, but each release at least a few I dig.
I enjoy all of Anthony's solo albums, but I don't think there's any that I love as a whole. Pixie Queen is his best though with Young Legs not far behind for me.
Avalon (especially the 20 track cd) and the godly remixes are some of my all time favorites. Microscope Store is one of my favorite songs of all time. So many feelings attached to that music and time period.
