Definitely back this. Some really great drumming throughout especially. Also thanks for your explanation of watermarking lmao, tbh you knew more than me even though we've both gotten plenty of watermarked advances.
I can already tell this is gonna end up high in my future Circa rankings. Just a really great album from these guys, not a weak track to be found. I'm not being nearly as descriptive as Kenneth lmao but hopefully I'll get there with future listens. He does have a way with words when describing music though.
this album is also probably their shortest? It clocks in at 43 minutes so its real lean by Circa standards. The two Hex songs have grown on me especially The Hex, its got this cool bassline thing with this super dirty distorted effect on it. Flesh And Bone has what sounds like keys and this really airy atmosphere to it. Anthony goes really really high in his register towards the end and its great.
Especially when you think the first song is 7 minutes but it's only 10 songs so they are still averaging over 4 minutes a song I guess
3 for 3. And this is definitely my favorite so far. Hype is at an all time high, maybe for any Circa release ever
OmG, I am shocked. I am have no words . Musically, title track is "house of leaves 2.0", and this album ends with a masterpiece.
such a weird single choice but its like the best song on the album so, theres that i guess. im still digging this album but its not like blowing me away or anything.
Weird they picked this song, since everyone knows they also shot a video for "Premonition of the Hex." So if that comes out too, we will have had 4 songs out of 10 released before the album...so basically half the album...
