That's crazy, Desert is easily my favorite from that album. i had a revisit of Circa's discog this month and TLM definitely stood out as one i didnt pay much attention to when it first came out but its one of my favorites off of BSN now.

Thought I was about to hear some Converge with that bass tone and guitar feedback.

 

Rites of Investiture is the shiznit. Super excited about this album.

Song is very interesting harmonically, also rocks pretty hard. Vocals are super growly

 

Might be my least favorite cir and song on first listen.

Anthony sounds like he doesn't know what to do over the song. Until the second half.

 

I take all of that back.
My stream was missing half the mix. No joke. Fucking Sonos. This is cool

 

But the second half of the song is instantly more Circa.
Do like that the first half is full Prog

 

This is pretty out of left field for this band, but I definitely like it a lot more than "Schema" and most of their other recent forays into heavier stuff. Much more interesting stuff going on here. I'm kind of getting a 90s vibe but can't put my finger on a particular band or even style.

That production though... geez, this band will never have a decent sounding record no matter how long they go on, will they.

 

This is one I'm going to have to listen to a handful of times before I decide.

I like this a lot more than lustration, also sounds 10x better with headphones on

 

Like it but don't love it. Though that was my same thought after lustration and I like that a lot now.

 

Damn this one is really good

 

I hope this is their most experimental album yet.

 

just curious what's more circa about the last half? I'm guessing by second half you mean when they break into the 4/4 bridge

 

Longest Mile is great i love that guitar and just how manic and claustrophobic that song feels
