I didn't for a good handful of years actually haha. The feedback at the end of Oh, Hello goes right into the feedback at the beginning of Suspending Disbelief. They included Suspending Disbelief on the album for the 10-year anniversary repress, but supposedly they cut Meet Me In Montauk down to not include House Of Leaves. Not sure if all vinyl copies of Juturna are like that or just the 10-year. I kinda want both lol
yeah I think just the anniversary version LP doesn't have House of Leaves on it. freaking crazy dumb if you ask me.
Yeah I was surprised. Maybe they just didn'y have enough space on the record to include all that dead space between Montauk and House.
I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this, but, as much as I do like Montauk, some days I wish House Of Leaves was the actual closer and Montauk was the hidden track. Regardless, I still love Juturna a ton just the way it is
I feel like they could have just lost the dead space. But I'm sure they did it the way the did for a reason of some sort.
I will never get over how amazing that track is. I honestly think it's one of the best pieces of music of the decade. crazy good live too.
Seeing them close out the Juturna tour with it was awesome. I'm glad they sneak it into their sets at times too. I know they did in 2013 a bit
Pretty excited about this album. Much needed right now. I liked Descensus more than Violent Waves, but it seemed to drag on some. Hoping this album turns out to be more along the lines of BSN and OL.
Curious why Circa isn't the only headliner. I didn't look at the dates yet. Guess we'll also get a proper tour to support the new album down the road.
I just have House Of Leaves as the end of Juturna with Montauk removed. I just like HOL so much and I hate having like 7 minutes of just empty space. Suspending Disbelief shouldve been on the album!!!
I just can't believe they're coming to Michigan 4 times this year. Royal Oak in February, Detroit a couple weeks ago, Grand Rapids in August, and Detroit again in December. I feel so blessed.
Yeah, Suspending Disbelief is vintage Circa - its insane that it was cut from the record for whatever reason, but glad it got picked up on the re-release.
Suspending disbelief works incredibly well on the album. Bummer it didn't make the official release, not sure I would want to listen to the album without it now
