Yeah, Rites is actually one of my favorites on here. Gives me major BSN vibes which I love.

 

my biggest wish for LP 7 is for anthony to pull back vocally and sing more comfortably within his range. I think at this point in his career his fans will accept the reality of how his voice has changed. The new act appalled acoustic sounds really genuinely great and very natural (even though i'm sure there's some heavy pitch correction going on). songs like You're So Dead Meat and Keep Your Mouth Shut show that his lower gritty vocals mixed with a clean falsetto really work well for him these days.

 

I think his vocals gave been fantastic on his last two releases. Hope he keeps up the falsetto usage, it's so good.

 

Um he can sing however high or low he wants with no concession

 

Id like an experimental album from them

 

When I talked to Anthony a couple weeks ago and Disrupt festival he said what he has been writing for the new album has been “really weird.” He sounded like it was going to be trippy.

 

Flesh and bone is such an outstanding track !

Just got my Sheet Happens Blue Sky Noise guitar book...So stoked to finally learn The Longest Mile and Glass Arrows... and everything else... gah.

 

Ooh I've thought about getting the OLG book on multiple occasions, would you say they're worth the money?

 

Totally! I own Saosins S/T, Along The Shadow, and Circas OLG and now BSN. As soon as you purchase it they email you Guitar Pro files (If you have the software, if not I recommend it.. been using it since I started.) and a PDF scan of the whole book so you can see the tabs if you dont have Guitar Pro.

I know it says it was transcribed by another person but it says edits by Brendan and someone else... from everything I've messed with the tabs are super accurate and weirdly enough BSN is all standard tuning.. When the album came out everything I found online was always drop tuning.
