It's kinda crazy to me that this thread thinks Circa and Thrice are the only worthwhile bands on the bill
its really bad
Yeah I really don’t like that lineup lmao
I've always associated On Letting Go with colder weather for some reason.
man i love BSN and OLG the most but this sneaks its way up with each listen.
Meg & Dia alone are worth more than $15, ya'll are nuts
That was the only one which wasn’t terrible
Dead pools and indras nest are great additions into these collections of songs. Would love to hear them live some day
Indra's Net: best song of the Amulet sessions and possibly top 10 of their career. Legendary.
Strong agree big Lazarus energy on that tune
im starting to warm up on the idea that this is either their best or second best album.
The amulet is their best album ! Title track best work they have ever done
I really think the production on this one puts in in a 1a and 1b with OLG. It's so smooth. I think if Descensus sounded similar I would put it up here too.
I still really hate the production or mixing on this album, just not a fan of how it sounds
the production is good for me personally but not without its eccentricities. Im glad that it actually sounds psychedelic.
it's a headphones album for me for sure. I have my gripes with it for sure, but I don't think the production ruins the songs.
I don't love the production on here or the volume of the guitars relative to the drums but I have no idea how I want CS albums to sound.
This album sounds good to great most of the time
At this point, does anyone think they’d use a producer other than Yip?
doubtful. seems few artists go to anyone else once they work with him.
IIRC Anthony didn’t even record the vocals for that Saosin record with the rest of the band in favor of doing them with Yip. Doubt he works with anyone else again as far as major projects go
if new tsoaf is with yip I might get worried
also where tf is new tsoaf
don't think it's ever happening tbh
