Idk why but the intrumental parts remind me of A Perfect Circle. I'm impressed. Anthony's performance is incredible, I feel like he's been at the top of his game lately.

 

This is great. I might like it more than the last album, although it definitely sounds like it came from those sessions

It would be really rad if they randomly recorded another full length

 

artwork with it looks like a play on The Amulet, so it certainly could mean a b-sides collection or something

 

The Amulet is my favorite Circa record at this point so I can’t really say that I’d want Dark Pools anywhere in its sequencing, replacing another song or otherwise. It’s suuuch a dope song though and I’d gladly throw money at a 7” with this and any other b-sides from those sessions

 

A surprise release of a b side disc would be really dope.

 

Anthony's vocals on this track are soooo spot on

 

Yeah if all my favorite bands could stop releasing their new stuff at the exact same time, that would be great, thanks.

Also this has no credibility at all, but this site lists it as an album at 49 minutes long. Highly, highly unlikely, but still interesting. Dark Pools

 

Where do you see the 49 minutes? I just see the one track with track length of 4:49.

 

This is what it looks like on mobile. I’ll chalk this up to a weird website glitch until further notice. This has to just be b sides from amulet.

 

Already out on iTunes, etc. in Europe as a single track. I guess it's possible it's the lead for a B-sides EP or something, but I don't remember Appendage having a single beforehand.

 

It lists Lustration as a 33 minute long album too. Not sure it means anything unfortunately.

 

Stare Like Youll Stay was released alone with the announcement of Appendage

 

it fits in better with the album than Rites does

though Ive grown to really like Rites

 

It lists seconds as minutes

 

and the track is really good. The last minute in a half had some really cool guitar

 

Finally just listened.

If this isn’t the lead single of a 40 track quadruple album, I’m going to be profoundly disappointed.

 

Dark Pools is part of a deluxe Amulet vinyl coming next month:

 

deluxe album for only two extra songs is kinda dumb, but whatever.

 

that vinyl variant is amazing, might have to get that

 

they need a better label

 

Def don’t need it. But def going to buy it.
