Idk, I feel like it won’t be a formally announced hiatus. But maybe I’m wrong.

 

It could be just a B-side release or something.

It's gonna be the first single from the next album, which will be released before the end of the year.

it’s probably just gonna not be a two year album cycle like we’ve grown used to from them

 

I could easily see it being a Thrice situation, where they take a few years off and then come back stronger than ever.

 

I cant remember exactly which studio video or interview it came from but...

I remember they said the working title for one of the last 3 albums was “The Rise and Fall of Circa Survive” or something to that effect

that had me worried back then

 

New single out called "Dark Pools". sounds amazing.

EDIT: after two more listens - it sounds like a natural progression from the amulet. A more upbeat, harder themed amulet kind of and Anthony's vocals are right on point.

Honestly, might like it better than everything on the album other than Lustration.

Really dig this and would put it above quite a few Amulet tracks.

My one complaint is that it seems like an ideal deep cut that would work great in the context of an album, perhaps surrounded by more direct and immediate songs, as opposed to a one-off single.

I mean, we have no reason to believe that’s true beyond conjecture.

 

I know it's all speculation until it's proper confirmed, but Anthony's tweet leads me to believe there'll at least be a hiatus.

Just listened to the track. Really enjoyed it, some lovely guitar tones on it.

 

Could just imagine this in between Stay and Rites or something like that, or even replacing one of those tracks? Will need more time to know
