Dyed in the Wool somehow just became even more impactful, wow. Hope you get yours asap! The clear is divine edit: teared up during the chorus to Dyed whoops
Maybe it's because I was listening to it on my stereo and I haven't listened to BSN on it in years, but yeah, sounded better. The bass came through better, especially in the first 3 tracks where it has that really dirty tone. By no means is it perfect, but it at least sounds improved! and yeah, despite my gripes with it, the album reminds me of good times, I'm so happy to have a copy
Doing a side by side with the mp3s now. These are definitely fixed too. Comparing the intro of I Felt Free is a good example. Those two snare hits still distort a bit, but overall it's more pleasant I think. I don't have the best ear/equipment/degree to make definitive judgments about how thorough the remaster was, but I can tell you it certainly isn't so goddamn loud and I'm very glad of that.
Just got word that my copy is at my parent's house. Not sure if I wanna drive the whole way out there to grab it after a long shift but I'm very damn tempted.
Mine isn't scheduled to get here until Friday. I'm excited to hear that the MP3s are remastered as well! EDIT: oh shoot nevermind, it's out for delivery today! Woo!
Mine said it was going to be delivered by 8pm tomorrow up until about 3 minutes ago when it randomly changed to delivered. I'm totally ok with that.
