They’re bland as cold shit lyrics. I love how this conversation happens every couple months without fail btw. Can’t wait to see who starts it next time.
I debated good and hard and ultimately decided not to get a ticket this tour bc the setlist was nearly the exact same as the last tours setlist. Wish Resign made that decision really hard though.
The lone upside to I felt free in the set list is that it's very Springy, as is the rest of BSN, so it fits the vibe. Maybe it'll be like Frozen Creek and be a lot better live than on record. Still, not too interested in seeing it.
If a song is being hotly debated 8 years after it came out (Happy birthday to BSN yesterday btw) even if it is a lame song, that's still pretty cool people are passionate about it.
Honestly I was very satisfied with my seltist. I’ve seen them four times now, and I Felt Free has been played twice. I’m not in love with the song, but live it sounds even better.
Crowd reaction to Rites would suggest people hate that song, from the two shows I've been to where they played it
Pretty much everything got good crowd reaction. People love lustration. Also for being such a deep cut I didn't not expect the huge sing along dyed in the wool got
I was at the Stroudsburg show and people freaked for Lustration but not much else from amulet. Also idk about Dyed in the wool being a surprise fan favorite, given BSN is most peoples favorite from what ive seen
i was thinking that BSN is definitely a huge favorite in their fan base but still they dont play dyed in the wool live much and i never see it regarded as a favorite on that album besides from a few like myself
I'm with ya there, easily the best along with Strange Terrain, both probably top 10 for me. It feels like a good song to get people into Circa too
The Amulet has pretty much remaimed in monthly rotation for me. I love it so much. Engrossing atmosphere, tight rhythm section, crazy guitar work, and soothing vocals. Production is much better on it than Descensus too. This album fucking rules
