I like both of those songs, individually, better than a good majority of OLG tbh. That said, I think they’re best left as b-sides.
Commercials is so good - better than at least a handful on OLG, and I consider that one of my all-time albums. I don't know if you could've fit either 1000 or Commercials into the flow of OLG in a natural way, though. But from a sheer quantity of A+ songs standpoint, the record would've been practically untopptable.
Chiming in to show BIG love to "The Most Dangerous Commercials" and "1000 Witnesses" possibly two of my favourite tracks by the band in general. I love the moments when everything explodes and Anthony's voice properly soars and those two songs are full of that.

What is your top spot? Intrigued as I know you really have a connection with this band (I'm sure you've said it before too, so apologies).
Jake has brought up Lazarus as their best song in every post in this thread (some of them its only implied tho) I put too much into my regular song ranking I'm never doing b-sides
This seems like a trick to get me to rank b sides. It's not happening. COMPREHENSIVE ALBUM TRACK RANKS ONLY
Lazarus is top 25, I guess Just kinda pedestrian to be at the very top imo, aside from the ending section
Living Together is a truly a great song, the opening bars always transport me to another place, like I'm visualizing an outdoor peak, hiking a mountaintop. When the vocals come in too it's like breathing in cold, fresh air. Sets up the rest of album and prepares the listener for a journey, like a full sensory experience. First time I heard it, just turned eighteen, I knew I this band was special.
"It starts out like a season in reverse" is a great album opening line too. I always thought at least.
Why do so many people in this thread constantly focus on talking about how much they don't like things lol. Sorry I like Lazarus I guess
I don’t connect with Appendage EP as much as everyone else but i do like it as companion piece to BSN. Would love to hear sleep underground, Lazarus, and backmask live. Might be a cool set of songs for VIP if they do a BSN 10 year tour...
This is why I rarely post in this thread. Haha there’s so much more negativity and weird criticisms in this thread than most of the other band threads I go on.
The run of never tell a soul through stay might be my favorite 5 song stretch in the discog. I literally listen to it everyday. Lol
Corn: hey tomato Tomato: yeah? Corn: why did the tomato blush? Tomato: idk why Corn: he saw the salad dressing Tomato: lol users in this thread: honestly BSN is one of the worst things ive ever heard
