Anthony switching up the delivery made it foolish to sing along to haha. BTW listening to the first three tracks of BSN to get fired up for work let's goooooo
Maybe it's because my date was early but he sounded amazing. He's been doing the shouty growly stuff live for years now idk. I feel like he's toned it back alot though when I saw them for OLG tour and this tour fwiw. I did notice on Difference Between he let the crowd do some heavy lifting. Otherwise, that was it on that
The Electric Factory sounds like ass anyway. I'd love to see them hit Union Transfer next year. I imagine he'd sound better in a smaller cap venue.
Anthony has sounded amazing all 3 times I’ve seen them this year. He’s one of my favorite live vocalists of all time.
I've only seen Circa live once at a festival last year but I thought Anthony sounded great. He definitely did change the rhythm of tons of his parts, though
I'll also say that over the summer I saw them on the 2nd show of their tour with AFI and the very last date of the tour and thought he sounded equally wonderful at both shows.
I've seen circa six times now, he's sounded great every time. He doesn't nail everything, he lets the crowd sing, but he has so much energy and puts on a fucking show.
Thrice and Circa sounded great last month. Though if I had to pick a fav I would say Circa looked like they were having more fun. Having said that I’ve seen Thrice four times now. Every time they sound amazing.
Also the first week with The Amulet I thought it was good. I’m willing to call it among their best albums now. Certainly their best of the last three. Huge Juturna/OLG vibes all over it.
I love Thrice and I think Circa completely blew them away in every aspect. I feel bad even saying that but it's how I feel. I know it's not a competition but the difference left an impression on me.
Thrice was super solid and while Circa was spectacular, their set felt short for me and skipped songs I was really looking forward to. I also hate the idea of having a signiture closing song, especially when it's one of their weaker songs. But their energy makes them the top tier live band
I hadn't seen Thrice in five years and Circa in two, but Thrice really blew me away. I was kinda surprised, but maybe it was cause I was chill watching Thrice in the back while with Circa I let loose.
at the end it would be great if Anthony is like "GET OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT but no seriously leave thanks for coming" and then the band does that ending breakdown
Get Out fucking slaps and should always be their closer. They played it in the middle of their set when I saw them a few years ago and it was weird af
It was such an unbelievably weird experience back when they released it as a single all those years ago. I'll never forget that. Completely unexpected.
I was 14 and it blew my mind. Bsn was my favorite for like 3 years after that and it was the first cd I went out and bought on release day haha.
