This is SUCH A TEASE ANTHONY "There’s a song I wrote – I won’t say which one – but it’s about an episode of Lost, and you wouldn’t know that to listen to it"
I've really valued all of Anthony's interview appearances this cycle. It's so powerful to hear him speak so frankly about all he's been through. He seems like he'd be a great guy to talk shit out with.
Same, I love it. This is a little older so he's a little less frank and maybe less....articulate and confident in his position/thoughts/morals/feelings now but I always enjoyed it. Seems so down to earth:
It’s really interesting how as a fan I think about the music and how much I enjoy it. And he is completely about the mindset and the creative process he was in to make it. Love the man
Finding solace in this group of men. Anthony has hurt a lot of people but I really believe that he understands and has tried to atone.
Plus there was that Brendan incident a few months ago where he walked off stage to alert security about a creep in the audience. I know you can never be sure, but this band seems truly committed to keeping their shows and community safe.
Perfect example of a band doing the right thing. The music worship tag they use seems to be a collective mindset. A space where everyone should be able to be, and appreciate art. Love these dudes.
"He's hurt a lot of people" is kind of a hell of a presumptuous thing to say. Just wondering where that's specifically coming from? And I'm not trying to be a dick I just don't understand.
If you read thru most his interviews talking about his addiction... he mentions how much he hurt and strained the most important relationships in his life because of his rampant drug use. I was mentioning how much I appreciate his Honesty, both with the situation itself and the people he harmed with his actions. The man was a heroin addict with 4 little kids. has completely changed his life around and spent the last few years trying to atone for the mistakes he made. I find it inspirational and genuine.
It just read really weird in general. and in the wake of the BN news, seemed presumptuous. doesn't feel appropriate to mention in the same breath at all. Oh well glad that's clarified
Didn’t mean to ruffle feathers. Just love how this band has handled bad situations (not brand new bad...at all) and found a way to keep going with an extremely positive outlook for the future. It is one of the things that continually makes me gravitate towards their music and live shows.
