it was a piece of shit apartment and the landlord goes out of his way to not fix anything so i wouldn't recommend it, but it's a roof over your head lol
we're in a condo in the Walnut Hills area but my spouse previously rented at One Lytle and had a pretty good experience overall. some of her neighbors had been there for decades. it's pretty central if that's what you're into too. I forget what she paid though and I just remember it being much cheaper than Nashville, which isn't saying much lol.
I haven’t been to Bogarts since 2013, but it seemed night and day different when I used to go to shows there in the early 2000s. I do recall the area kind of improving there though? Is that no longer the case (I haven’t been to Cinci in 10 years).
When I was at UC we never went to Short Vine unless it was for a show at Bogarts but now it’s the place to be
Does anyone want my Jawbreaker tickets for next week? I can’t go and I’ll literally transfer them to you for free!
Haha well… when I got there I changed my mind after a couple weeks and broke my lease and came back to Montana. Not going to stay in MT permanently, but I’m not sure Cincy is the place for me!
I am sorry to hear all of that. Hopefully the relationship is still going at least. Always a bummer to hear things like that. I had a bad moving experience too, so in some ways I understand some of what you're dealing with. Hopefully you find where you need to be and make it happen.
Thanks so much! Working it all out currently and hopefully going to make it back to Columbus to see The 1975 in November!
That is good to hear. Nothing like testing the limits of the relationship early. Hopefully things go well and you guys figure everything out!
Stumbled upon this article from earlier this year. Very cool to learn more about this venue. Shame its not still part of Short Vine. https://www.cincinnatimagazine.com/article/why-sudsy-malones-mattered-and-still-does/
