Anybody from the Cincinnati-Dayton area as well?
What's the deal with Cincinnati Chili?
Spaghetti, with the seasoned meat + kidney beans, cheese and onions. mmmm
Toledo! Have friends in Dayton and Cinci. I'll be there for bunbury this year
That looks delicious
Oh, it is!
I live in Centerville which isn't far from Dayton.
I played a show in cincinatti once.. this awesome narrow bar, with generous whiskey. i found awesome hosts on couchsurfing, they led me to amazing guacamole and amazing mac and cheese, at two different restaurants before the show. i had absolutely one of the most memorable nights of my life there. Jealous of y'all!!
That last picture is amazing looking.
LaRosas makes Montgomery INN pizza.
It's amazing :')
Dayton Larosas doesn't compare to the stuff you get in Cinci or Kings Island. The quality just is not the same
Yep, I've noticed that. I always thought "wtf, Kings Island LaRosa's is always so much better." However, the one I go to now, I can say matches Kings Island LaRosa's quality.
From Cleveland and went to the University of Dayton and really loved it. Favorite pizza in Dayton was either Marion's or Milano's. Haven't had much Cincy pizza, but I did have Fireside that was really good. The location is neat too, it's this converted fire station.
I am not a fan of Skyline. I never got the appeal. Cincy folks swear by it, but I don't get it. It's a moot point now since I no longer eat meat haha.
Figured this would be worth posting here. I am selling my drum kit. Message me if you are interested! You can see photos by clicking the link below.

Oh cool. I'm in Troy, but that's practically Huber Heights which is also practically Dayton. I'm only 15 minutes from that new Music Center at the Heights - hoping to go see a show or two there this summer, maybe. They're getting a bunch of people I loved in high school (Barenaked Ladies, Goo Goo Dolls), so it'd be a fun nostalgia bomb. :D
Lots of good concerts coming to Huber this summer. I grew up in Huber!
Where are the best fireworks in the area?
I have spent most of my life in Cinci and Dayton. Some of my very favorite artists come from Cinci. That's such a great scene.
I live in the Cleveland area but have visited Cincinnati 4 or 5 times. I remember going to Bogarts in early 2005 to see TBS and thinking that area was kind of sketchy. But then I went back to Bogarts in 2013 for a Brand New show and the area looked totally different and nice. Had a great time before and after the show going to a bunch of bars and restaurants near Bogarts. I remember the bar/restaurant right across the street from Bogarts (I think it was kind of a pizza place) were playing nothing but Brand New before the show.
Yeah, gentrification works wonders
Srsly, how do I get a label to look at this city for music?
Looking for a couple (guy/girl) to do a photo shoot for a cover I am designing. Needs to be able to shoot this week in Dayton. If you know of anyone who fits the look from this moodboard please message me and I can give them more details.
