Saw your post in the Now, Now thread and now I see this. smh About the cover, I like it, but I feel like it also kinda makes the song a lot less sentimental.
I've never gotten into their voices and a lot of their vocal quirks. The songs themselves are fine, but I just don't like listening to their voices haha
Hype. I think Every Open Eye is better than their debut at this point, so I'm curious to see where they go next.
it's hard to take anything seriously saying "the most pop stuff we've done" when they've already been pretty straightforward pop in the first place
i wasn't talking about the article quality i just mean in general. like, this band isn't going more pop because they can't really go much further lol
they could easily with a larger focus on Lauren's vocals/hooks but i agree they can't become much "poppier" without losing their identity
Unfortunately I am not a fan of a single album that Greg Kurstin has been involved in, so I'm rather anxious about this news.
how can that be true at all, Kurstin is fucking great. I mean, even just simply The Bird and The Bee as a band is excellent, then the sheer volume of amazing tracks he has produced.... to not be a fan of anything of his seems weird
I scrolled through his entire production credits and there are no more than a handful of songs I like over the course of his career.
