CHVRCHES - Screen Violence (August 27th 2021) Album

Discussion in 'Music Forum' started by Carrow, Apr 13, 2021.

  1. The Scottish trio (rounded out on their last album by drummer Jonny Scott, who also played drums on the most recent record by The Twilight Sad) are following up 2018's Love is Dead this year. Single supposedly coming next week so I figured I'd get the ball rolling on CHV4.

Possibly called Screen Violence by the way, we'll see what happens with that. GET HYPED.

  4. I think Love is Dead holds up pretty well, I just don't know what the fuck they were thinking with the chorus on Miracle. That was so much fun live though so it balances out.

Thanks, I'll go with @Carrow's playlist first (plus Miracle because I want to hear this dumb chorus).

Yeah everything they've said since the last album makes it sound like this will be different, and that they sound really excited about it. I remember reading that they learned a lot from trying to push for a more commercial sound on the last album as well.

Miracle had so much going for it before the chorus too.

I don’t hate miracle. Heaven/Hell and Graves are worse.
