    this album is very firmly ok to me BUT i feel like its a transition/stepping stone record and they're going to knock it out of the park next time around

    I come back to 5-6 songs on here, this album didn't hit me like their others even though I listened to it non-stop when it came out, but it still delivered some unforgettable bangers and I'll always be here for more from them.

    it's my least favorite as well but still very cool, and it's definitely brought them new fans. i have at least a couple of friends who got totally hooked on "never say die" after passing on their older stuff

    I should really revisit this but I've just been jamming Mother and Every Open Eye, such fantastic records. Every Open Eye is probably one of my very favorite releases of the last five years
