I’m really happy I caught their first show of the year back in the summer, one of the few before they dropped Tether from the set.

 

Dropping Tether is a damn crime.

 

I forgot this album existed then remembered and tried it again and still hate it

 

It’s definitely my least favorite album by them but I can’t imagine straight up hating it. I love at least half of the album.

 

I tried listening again last week after revisiting Bones, but man, I am just not feeling it at all. I like Wonderland more than I remember, but that's about all I can say. I don't even want to bother seeing them this time around, which sucks. I still think they're a good band, they just happened to release an album that does absolutely nothing for me.

That said, I'm excited to hear the new versions of these tracks. Maybe there's something different there and I can enjoy them a bit more.

 

It's a shame because their live show has improved, with the help of a drummer and Lauren's increased stage presence.

 

This might not be their best album, but “Graffiti” and “Never Say Die” are both Top 5 CHVRCHES songs

I wouldn't rank a top 5 or 10 songs, but those are definitely up there

 

the entire back half is great. first half is a mixed bag but once you're past Miracle it's all good

 

There's an excellent 5/6 song EP in here.

damn. I was barricade for the national weekend 1. I didn't know I needed this!! very cool.

also can confirm Clearest Blue still goes THE HARDEST live. new songs were good too! They're a really fun festival band.

Saw them for the first time this last week, they were great. Clearest Blue is as epic live as I was hoping.
