I was a big fan of their last album.

 

I was so ready to make my first album thread ever for this but ya beat me to it.

LOVE "Juice." I really thought White Women was front-to-back their best album so I am very excited for this. Been too long.

 

This has been so love overdue! Great news!!

Another banger, but...I imagine they can't really play this one live? Has so much of The-Dream in it.

 

Between this and White Women, what is up with Chromeo and ludicrously long album rollouts?

Honestly kind of shocked at the lack of buzz in general? They’re playing Terminal 5 and Music Hall of Williamsburg (smaller) the next two nights and tickets are or were WAYYY below face.

 

I mean, a 7 month roll out and three singles that didn't really hit (although I loved Bad Decision).

Album is really good though! Highly enjoyable.

 

Had that conversation with a friend with me. The rollout for this and White Women were both comically long.

 

They also have relatively niche appeal

 

I don't know about that, but perhaps I'm very wrong. Feel like they are still a guaranteed festival draw, generally "agreeable" dance music, and I've even seen jam band people at their shows.

 

Agreed, they've always had a weird, almost underground, popularity.

 

I tend to find their albums always have 4 or 5 bangers and a lot of filler. Need to give this a listen
