Surprised there are no reviews out for this yet. Even if they are terrible, I know I'm still going to see it, though.

 

Looks like it's not out until August 17th in the UK.

 

Disney sometimes does 3-5 days before. Infinity War was 4 days before, A Wrinkle in Time was 3 days, Incredibles 2 was 5 days before. I heard a rumor that the embargo lifts on Thursday, but it could come tomorrow or even later today as well.

 

I love these characters so much. Don't see this doing poorly unless it's compared unfavorably to Paddington or something. Looking forward to reliving my childhood in a new way. :)

The review embargo being after the movie comes out worries me

 

I'm really not sure why the embargo lasts so long. Looking on social media, there's a lot of good reviews/vibes from the film.

 

I've already got my tissues ready for all the crying I will do

 

who cares what the reviews are going to say? just go see it if you want to see it? ha

 

I enjoy reading reviews. They typically don't stop me from seeing something if I really want to see it.
And I know I'm seeing this regardless. I just like reading reviews.

I was really excited about this movie but Emily Yoshida is one of my most trusted film writers. I am CONFLICTED.
