I know this has gotten some mixed reviews around the web but it was the first of his books since Zeitoun that I've been able to finish, and I thought it was really great.

 

About two chapters in and really enjoying it. Didn't know it got mixed reviews. Huge fan of his so I tend to enjoy most everything he writes. The Circle was quite good I thought.

These threads always fascinate me because some people get SO MUCH. In my family once u become an adult u don't get a big fuss. I got a Sephora gift card. Haven't been to my moms so idk what she got me.

It’s too much, honestly, and I’m lucky/blessed.

 

very uncomfortable and awkward christmas, I am at odds (to put it nicely) with family.

That said the best gift was a velvet comforter. Considering my name i'll get a lot of use from that.

 

I bought myself a sweater and shoes and my parents grabbed them when I was sleeping and wrapped them as a present for me haha.

 

I had such an adult Christmas, I got a toaster, a vacuum, and an espresso machine.
