I Still Believe in You! That's the one you'd recommended. I've been meaning to listen to it...I just always get stuck listening to These Days over and over. I get lost in that monster.

 

I'm so intimidated by that one that I still haven't gotten to that

 

It's sooooooo worth it though. 100%

 

Oh I'm sure it will be a masterpiece, but it is lengthy

 

I'd recommend starting with disc 2, "The Reason Why: The Groovy Record". That'd be the easiest way to ease in, plus that collection is (in my opinion) the obvious predecessor to Down to My Last.

Skipping around and listening to clips of the album is what convinced me to buy the album in the first place. First country record I ever purchased.
