I think Can’t Die is better, but I still really like this, especially Domain Lapse.

 

Really disappointed how little attention this is getting not only on here but in year end publications. It’s such a good record.

 

I've given in a fair amount of listens and just... I dunno, I don't think it's very good. Seems like Chris on autopilot, which is enjoyable enough music, but not much on here that I find particularly new for him and nothing at all that WOWs me

 

This is unfortunately about how I feel too. This was one of my most anticipated but it just fell flat for me.

 

I think the stretch from Search 4 Me to I Was Amazing is good but nothing else really stood out to me

 

I like this a lot more than Can’t Die which never fully clicked for me.

 

I like both albums but Fake Problems was just miles and miles ahead. LOVE Antartigo as well, but solo is always just "like"

 

I miss Fake Problems so much

 

Same. I hate that there's a whole Fake Problems album that exists that was never released.

 

The two songs they released from it were ok at best and the band didn't even like the record. This is one case where it seems we're better off

 

I always wondered where Chris was from. I swore there’s wasn’t a wiki for him all knew was he was in Antartigo, and solo.

It's Great To Be Alive is far and away my favorite, probably has a lot of unexpected stuff for you too which will be fun. Real Ghosts Caught On Tape after that one.

 

Real Ghosts Caught on Tape is a classic.

 

I remember "Sugar" leaked and was really good but I think it got scrubbed from the internet

This kind of clicked with me yesterday finally. I think the below just hit me pretty hard

Enjoyed that on first listen. Excited to see him live in about a week!

 

Came to this thread because I just bought tickets to that show and also am listening to this for the first time.

Definitely slept on this one, I'm into it so far.

I've seen him a bunch and his shows are always so ridiculously fun!

 

The show was fantastic tonight. The Born Hot songs sounded great and Chris was excellent as usual.
