I have this real hate for NYE, and I go through the same ritual for the entirety of the day feeling anxious, flip-flopping between going out and staying in, and inevitably ending up going out.

This year, the same happened, except for the first time in my life I've landed on staying in, after a last minute meltdown. So I'm alone (proper, actual alone) on New Years Eve. Will I feel liberated or implode in an anxiety-fueled FOMO rage? Wish me luck.

Okay I'm off to a bad start - it's 8.30pm and I'm listening to Pale Waves - New Year's Eve.

Anything with the lyrics "I don't wanna be alone on New Year's Eve" seems like it might not be conducive to a great solo NYE.

 

AMC has notified me that I bought 48 movie tickets in 2017 and spent the equivalent of two days in the movie theater....I think I have a problem

I have 49 visits in the past 12 months. But I’m not sure if they are counting tickets or each card use. I assume card use.

There is no way I went 49 times. But I use my card for the ticket and then for concessions.
