I own Man Bites Dog but it’s been a few years since I’ve watched it I’ll probably throw it on tomorrow
Man Bites Dog was a very interesting film. I liked it for the most part, especially the mockumentary aspect. Could have done without the r*pe scene Pretty funny at times too. Ending shocked me a bit.
Gotcha okay i’m with it now! Obviously not comparing the two but with the title I think I instinctively assumed animal cruelty haha
I'm only 40 minutes in so apologies for the racist scene (again, this is a first watch for me) but at the same time, wow, sporadically really funny and you can see a direct line between this and like Behind the Mask or The Dirties. Really enjoying it so far edit: and the homophobic scene, lmao. Ope. I know he's a serial killer so he's obviously a bad guy and that's a part of it but sorry in advance if that made anyone uncomfortable.
Lmao at all of the deceased crew members having pregnant girlfriends and the scene where they run into another killer with a camera crew, very funny stuff
Triple-post, but yeah, very happy with that pick, way funnier than expected and way ahead of its time. A great film
Yeah i’m about halfway through Man Bites Dog and it’s hilarious. Like Aaron said, the direct and obvious influence this had on Leslie Vernon is super cool to see
Yeah really funny and pretty fucked up. Was a formative film for me when I managed to rent it back in high school. Didn’t watch it regularly or anything, but stuff like running into the other film crew made me think “oh wow you can do that?”
