Hell yeah! I've only seen once and don't remember much. Been meaning to rewatch. Technically a Christmas movie, I believe?

 

It's vaguely Christmas time but not really

 

I need another week for Night of the Comet, it's on my list to hit before Christmas. Cool if we extend until then?

Night of the Comet was fun. Didn't really love the direction it went in though. The sisters are great characters, loved them

 

I'm kind of in the same boat. Definitely had a good time with it, good characters, but it was different than I was expecting and that hindered my enjoyment just a little bit. (That's obviously on me, though)

not sure what it’s streaming on but it’s bound to be on something

this just happened to fall on a day where I’m day drunk in what’s been a rather depressing week altogether

Yeah, not streaming but I own it so I have no qualms. Love that film

So I liked The Witch a lot the first time I watched it, but I have to say I loved it on this second watch. Just incredible atmosphere and performances (especially want to shoutout Harvey Scrimshaw's performance, the kid really nails it). Really love the score too, gets so unsettling at times. Eggers loves his period pieces, but I'd love to see him tackle something more modern sometime
