Yeah. Snake draft makes the most sense. With so many new folks random order makes the most sense. In future seasons we could do some sort of weighted lottery for draft position or something like that.

 

If I was able to beat Dracovish with a ground-type, it’s not unstoppable.

how do folks feel a out having two divisions? If we have 16 teams, we can split it in two divisions of 8 each. Battle each team in your division twice (so 14 matches), then top 3 from each division plus two wild cards (from either division) make the playoffs.

 

Lots of pokemon can wall it, a lot can put speed it. It's strong, definitely as a late game cleaner, but it's far from unstoppable

It took this league for Rotom Heat to finally get the same respect as Wash

 

I wanted Heat so badly

rotom-h is just so good.

that entire league i used Specs, Scarf, Boots and even Flame Orb - and those were just ideas that I actually used. A lot of things left in the drawing board.

 

i think the division stuff sounds cool as long as i dont have to work out the numbers myself lol

also im sorry is there any to make my name seattle seadras intead of "seadra"? i think the plurar sounds better? is the plural of "seadra", "seadras"?

 

the playoff four go last in the draft after the rest of us twelve are scrambled? It’s like after all the trades in the NFL.

 

I mean that's the problem too though, going last can be an advantage in itself in a snake draft (and we HAVE to do a snake draft)

 

Since there's new people I don't think anything other than random is fair

There's a reason it went straight to ubers lol

 

I remember there was a stretch where it was like "this thing is unstoppable!" then a bunch of people countered it fairly easily and then now it feels like we've come full circle and it's unstoppable again just cuz of its movepool and scarfability (or bandability but frankly scarf is way better for this IMO)

People went in on Dracovish and forgot about Darm

 

It's obviously not unstoppable, it's just a bit too good compared to the other sweepers in OU, to the point where offensive teams would be at a disadvantage if they didn't use it.

 

Yeah for sure. The first big calc I ran after seeing the stat spread was vs Rotom-Heat and Rotom-Heat handled it with ease so if you get in that position you can handle it

 

Yeah rotom heat is a pretty great check to it

rock slide OHKO's offensive variants of it but most people don't run rock slide
