I'm surprised at how well I've turned my team around but then I remember that I faced both of them in week 1 and I really think it made me look so much worse than I am
Standings: zigbigwig 9-0 - XZ DerekIsAGooner 6-3 Jake W 4-1 Shrek 5-3 Fucking Dustin 5-3 JRShoenberger 3-5 Garrett L. 3-6 E Laura 3-6 E morgantayler 2-4 thenewmatthewperry 2-5 CarpetElf 1-7 E (This is not in exact order due to people having different # of matches played) Garrett, Laura, and CarpetElf are eliminated from playoffs
My team vs @Garrett L. I brought Whimsicott to deal with Scrafty, Crawdaunt, and potential hazards. Whimsicott hasn't been great for me so far this year but its OHKO of Scrafty after the Wish proved to be VERY helpful. Ditto did not end up having much viability so I chose to go with Hatterene instead; since I've seen Garrett proc paralysis a lot I wanted Aromatherapy available to heal that paralysis and Nuzzle to turn the tables against Clefable and others. I gave it Weakness Policy expecting a weak steel move on one of Garrett's Pokemon to activate it. The other choices I feel are semi-obvious so I won't go into those as much, but having Prankster setups has helped me a lot in this season and the impact Grimmsnarl has had on my teams cannot be overstated. MVP: LOBSTERFEST IS BACK (Drapion)
i haven’t seen the match but any pokemon that can trap and has a good offense is scary. planning vs my match with Dustin and Jake, i took those factors in very seriously
Luckily for you Gothitelle doesn't have a good offense haha (especially lucky for you considering we might be round 1 matchups)
it can check what it needs to check. i think the stats are pretty decent (esp with Specs, or the free buffs build on smogon). i remember when shadow tag gengar was a thing. seriously fuck that
Gothitelle scarfed with trick calm mind stored power and another attacking move is fun to use Use trick on a wall and gg basically
